Melghat Development Society is a non-profit, voluntary and registered organization established in 1996. It has been founded by a handful of volunteers under the leadership of its visionary founder Director Rev. Dr. John Maliekal. It got its own office only in 1999. Since its inception, the organization has been working tirelessly for the upliftment of tribal and marginalized communities in the Melghat region.
